Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Kabul to participate in the sixth meeting of the foreign ministers of China, Afghanistan and Pakistan. This was announced by the official website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
“On the morning of August 20, 2025, Member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Kabul to visit Afghanistan to attend the Sixth Meeting of Foreign Ministers of China, Afghanistan and Pakistan“, the statement said.
A day earlier, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said that Wang Yi would visit Pakistan from August 20 to 22 to attend the Sixth Round of China-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue at the Foreign Ministerial Level.
Before the visit to Afghanistan, Wang Yi paid a working visit to India from August 18 to 20.
