Russia, India and China are aware of their common interests in many areas, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
„Demonstration that three great powers, representing three great civilizations, are aware of their common interests in a number of areas. This does not mean that everything is 100% the same, but there is a tendency for China, Russia and India to develop their partnership, drawing mutual benefit from those areas where we have the same interests,“ the minister said, commenting on the joint photo of the leaders.
Lavrov added that the countries' common interests include developing the economy, solving social problems and improving the well-being of the population.
At the SCO summit, Putin, Modi and Xi Jinping took a joint photo.
