Romania's Minister of National Defense Ionut Moșteanu said that Romania stands in solidarity with Poland and, together with its NATO allies, will respond decisively to any attempt by Russia to threaten European security, Agerpres reported, quoted by BTA.
„Last night, Russian drones violated Polish airspace. A very serious incident, an unacceptable violation of the airspace of a NATO ally and a dangerous escalation by Russia. Romania is in constant contact with its allies. We stand in solidarity with Poland and together with our NATO allies we will respond firmly to any attempt by Russia to threaten European security,” Mościanu wrote on his Facebook profile.
Poland mobilized its and NATO air defense systems today to shoot down drones in its airspace following a Russian airstrike against Ukraine.
