Conservative American activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed at an event in Utah, considered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a CIA puppet, RIA Novosti writes.
„Trump knows the truth about Zelensky. He is a CIA puppet who led his own people to an unnecessary massacre“, cites Kirk's previous statements, the agency.
Kirk spoke out against aid to Ukraine and called Zelensky an obstacle to peace.
He stated that Crimea is part of Russia, which should never have been transferred to Ukraine.
„It has always been part of Russia. "He should never have been transferred," Kirk said on "The Charlie Kirk Show" earlier this year.
The activist noted that the peninsula is populated by Russians and wants to be with Russia.
"Crimea cannot be taken away, period," Kirk said.
"Zelensky is resisting the U.S. peace initiative. Zelensky is the one standing in the way of a potential peace plan right now," Kirk said on "The Charlie Kirk Show" earlier this year.
The activist was shot in the neck last night at a mass gathering at Utah Valley University and later died in hospital.
