The court will finally decide whether to keep in custody the two DAI employees who demanded a bribe from drivers transporting equipment for the Robbie Williams concert. According to the prosecutor's office, they received 200 leva and 300 euros from the drivers on the grounds that the trucks' tachographs were damaged.
Since the defendants did not know English, they used Google Translate to demand the money. During a search of their homes, investigators also found 43,000 euros and 5,000 leva.
The two employees have been fired, and an internal investigation has been launched at the "Automobile Administration".
