The “Magnitsky“ sanctions can be lifted if the person has reformed. This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borisov to journalists in the National Assembly, quoted by dariknews.bg.
Borisov emphasized that he never lies. "Everyone who is sanctioned hires lawyers, sends documents. From below the "Magnitsky" sanctions end like this - if the person has reformed, they are removed or not", he specified.
"The time is not far off when colleagues from PP-DB were talking on television about how Delyan Peevski has reformed, we work together. The time is not far off when they gave press conferences together to change the Constitution. Dozens of laws have been signed by Borisov, Petkov, Peevski, Hristo Ivanov", he stated.
GERB leader Boyko Borisov also shared that Asen Vassilev, Hristo Ivanov, Kiril Petkov, Atanas Atanasov also shared that the judicial system should be divided into two between them. "I said that I will not participate in this. Maria Gabriel was there too, she didn't know where she ended up," he said.
"Now they want to put Peevski under me, and for them to shake off all this past, I have to tell you that I don't care at all. As long as I have a stable majority through him, I will do it," Borisov is categorical.
My only criticism of Hristo Ivanov is that he left. Now we should have explained together about the things we did together, Borisov commented.
"This year's budget is a coalition, I will not take any risks," the GERB leader said.
