With a moderate and strong wind from the northeast, colder air will start to move in.
Maximum temperatures will drop and will be between 15° and 20°, in the southwestern regions – to about 23°, and along the coast – from 13° to 16°.
Cloudiness will be significant and in many places there will be temporarily intense precipitation accompanied by thunderstorms.
A yellow code has been declared in Southwestern Bulgaria for significant precipitation and thunderstorm activity. There will also be conditions for hail.
In the mountains there will also be intense precipitation and thunderstorms, more significant in the massifs of Southwestern Bulgaria, where hail is also possible.
On Thursday precipitation will cover almost the entire country. It will be more intense and significant in the Rila-Rhodope region, and in the southwestern regions there will also be thunderstorm activity. With a strong northeast wind, even colder air will invade and daytime temperatures will drop significantly.
On Friday, precipitation will decrease, the wind will weaken, but the cold will continue.
Over the weekend, it will be mostly cloudy, with rain showers, mainly light.
It will remain relatively cold for the end of April.
