"I have not just become the minister of energy. When the time comes, we will respond together with the acting energy minister." This was stated by acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev during a briefing in the Council of Ministers in response to a question about why President Rumen Radev wants a full inspection of gas flows in our country, news.bg specified.

Initially, Glavchev deflected the question, as it was not the topic of the day, but the topic was Ukrainian aid to farmers.

Subsequently, the caretaker prime minister added that President Rumen Radev had no way of assigning him tasks.

We remind you that earlier today President Rumen Radev demanded that all flows of natural gas entering the country be checked, and that this be done with the "same bait and acrimony" to make such a check after the height of the hysteria on the subject of "Botash".

On April 19, the National Assembly adopted a report on the activities of the Temporary Commission on the agreement between "Bulgargaz" EAD and the Turkish state energy company "Botash". Acting Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov was thus tasked with initiating actions to renegotiate the agreement.
