The BSP plenum determines the candidate lists for the parliamentary and European elections. This is happening against the background of multiplying political formations in the left space. On May 1, the socialists invited more than 20 parties and more than 20 civil associations to a discussion.
Most likely, the European candidates will be headed by Christian Vigenin. And upon entering, Rumen Gechev indicated that he would probably be part of the list. "I will be nominated there, as they called me from all over the country - me and other colleagues, about the nominations. And I have given consent, there is nothing unusual. The policies are spelled out in the draft program, which we will now vote on. We have discussed it twice, now it is the final version, but I must tell you that there is nothing sensational, as we have our goals. There is no way a serious party can change them. The policies are clear - we follow them, we don't embrace bad comrades", he explained.
Peter Mutafchiev, for his part, believes that the Left must do everything possible to appear united in these two elections. "We cannot appear with five lists. Already tomorrow, this leadership must do everything possible to gather all these formations that have declared that they will appear in the elections, to unite them around the ideas of socialism, and I call on them - be small and Christian. The victories that you demonstrate like Sofia are not victories, they are failures", he commented.
Vanya Grigorova, who is the chairwoman of the "Solidary Bulgaria" coalition, emphasized that her discussion with Cornelia Ninova had become undisguised. "All the things she did in the campaign, I don't cover them up anymore. I say what's going on. In the previous elections, she tried to break the coalition, worked against me and against her own candidates for municipal councilors. Worn-out canes from political use look like crutches to them, I am not like GERB. This is, in short, the way in which I could comment on all these statements of the BSP and specifically of Ms. Ninova", she stated on the air of "Wake up".
