From today in the tax warehouses of “Lukoil Neftohim Burgas“ AD and “Lukoil Bulgaria” EOOD started control actions, announced the Ministry of Finance.
Joint teams of employees of the "Customs" Agency, the National Revenue Agency, the Main Directorate "Fighting Organized Crime" participate in the inspections. – Ministry of Internal Affairs, Main Directorate “National Police” – Ministry of the Interior and State Agency "State Reserve and Wartime Stocks". If necessary, the teams will seek assistance from the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Supervision, as well as other state institutions and control bodies. The total number of employees involved in the operation is over 190.
The main purpose of the operation, which was ordered by acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, is to carry out an inventory by taking into account the physical stocks of energy products, including bioethanol and biodiesel, stored on the territory of the tax warehouses, with the data being compared with the material accounting.
The operation covers the tax warehouses of the two companies, representing oil bases, on the territory of the Sofia regions – city, Sofia Region, Stara Zagora, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, as well as the tax warehouses managed by the State Agency “State Reserve and Wartime Stock“.
The control actions will continue until the completion of the inventory in all objects, the MoF adds.
