We will strive to show our expertise even more, as it has proven to be productive.
This is what the candidate MP from ITN Pavela Mitova said in ”Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS.
She commented on her presence in the electoral lists for both the Bulgarian National Assembly and the European Parliament as follows: ”I will comply with the decision of the Bulgarian citizens, but I will also take into account the opinion of my colleagues, because it is important to know where you will be most useful.”
Regarding North Macedonia, she pointed out that “Bulgaria's position was national betrayal and gave the Macedonian authorities a reason to believe that we are easily manipulated by foreign powers”. "The anti-Bulgarian speech takes into account the parameters of our weakness," added Mitova.
On the subject of the Green Deal, she was adamant that it must be renegotiated. "Not only Bulgaria can renegotiate the Green Deal, the European Union can do it," said the politician. She is of the opinion that this deal puts Europe in a more difficult position for the development of business and the economy of the continent. The politician pointed out that this type of energy policy turns Bulgaria from an exporter into an importer.
Miteva was categorical that ITN supports the development of nuclear energy in the country. She pointed out that there should be diversification of energy sources. “We cannot rely only on photovoltaic plants, because they cannot balance the system,” said the candidate deputy from ITN.
On the subject of the minimum wage, Mitova said that there should be an hourly rate that would be different for different industries and regions.
Regarding the minimum pension, she stated that the policy pursued so far was wrong. According to her, it should be borne in mind that the primary source of the problem is the demographic crisis, as there is an imbalance between the income and expenditure parts of the budget.
Miteva expressed hope that Bulgaria will soon be able to enter the land-based Schengen.
