The mayor of Dupnitsa was brought in as a defendant because of a threat

The District Prosecutor's Office in Kyustendil brought in as a defendant the mayor of Dupnitsa Parvan Dangov because of a threat, BTA reported from the prosecutor's office.

Dangov was brought as a defendant under Art. 144, para. 2, paragraph para. 1 of the Criminal Code – a threat to an official or a representative of the public during or on the occasion of the performance of his office or function, said prosecutor Krum Krumov.

The case is from the middle of March, and the reason is a threat made to the head of the police in the city ch. Inspector Yordan Zarev, whom he threatened with the words: "If you want war, there will be war.

Until now, Dangov has not been arrested and retains his right to remain silent, the prosecutor's office said.
