"The technical error from the first matriculation exam will not affect the assessment," said Deputy Minister of Education Emilia Lazarova.
"Absolutely not. We all know how important the state matriculation exams are for matriculation students. It definitely won't affect. They will not be harmed, let them be calm," she urged.
She was adamant that the "leak" from the Ministry of Education there is no way. Security measures have been taken, Lazarova told BNT.
"I don't want to believe that there are so many students who rely on this option,", she added.
"Traditionally, among the most preferred subjects is the English language. And this year, there are 12,000 students who applied for the second matriculation exam in English language profiled preparation. They are followed by geography - 2200 people. There are about 2,000 applicants for biology. Followed by philosophy, history and mathematics," said Emilia Lazarova - Deputy Minister of Education.
The Deputy Minister of Education indicated that 37 exams will be passed by all matriculation students in total at the second matriculation exam.
The duration of the matriculation exam, as with the first one, is 4 hours.
Matriculation results should be released by June 7.
