Gvozdeikov left for Burgas with the first train with modernized German wagons

The first train with modernized German wagons left the Central Station - Sofia at 6:15 this morning for Burgas, it was reported from the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The acting Minister of Transport and Communications, Georgi Gvozdeikov, is expected to travel with him.

The composition is expected to arrive in Burgas at 12:10 p.m., and the journey should last 5 hours and 55 minutes. The train is expected to travel on this route throughout the summer.

The carriages have an air-conditioning system and sockets for charging mobile devices, the caretaker minister said on Friday, during the presentation of the train, together with German Ambassador Irene Maria Planck. We hope that the next batch of wagons will have a restaurant wagon, said Gvozdeikov.

When asked if there was a delay in the delivery of all the wagons, Gvozdeikov replied that the schedule was being followed and there were no delays. The next batch left last Thursday and should arrive in Bulgaria any moment, Gvozdeikov specified.
