If a person is dismissed from one of the offices, and another is appointed in his place - this is not a change, this is a completely normal administrative process. For me, the changes will be when someone comes out and says what needs to be changed.
This is what former interior minister Emanuil Yordanov said in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".
According to him, a person who is able to make reforms should be put at the head of a certain service.
"He must be given time to look at things from the inside, because when one deals with such structures - what is seen from the outside does not quite match what you can see inside. If a politician has contact with a certain public official, this contact could be used for something positive," Yordanov added for Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to him, the first mandate was indicative.
"This division of the Bulgarian people, which is the result of the management of GERB, has turned against GERB. To get to the point that DPS, which was supposedly a reliable ally, splitting into two, gave one part in favor of GERB, and the other refused to vote. From the moment Ahmed Dogan left active politics, he appointed one person or another as the chairman of the party. The interesting thing is that each of the appointees at some point decides that he has become a very serious political factor, and he is practically appointed by Dogan and it is normal to do what is asked of him. Otherwise, it will come to a natural end," the former interior minister emphasized.
Asked if an expert cabinet is a solution, Emanuil Yordanov answered: "I am against such terms and phenomena. In our Constitution, there is a regular government and a caretaker government. Any use of adjectives is an attempt to call something by another name. In many cases, people are sought who suffer from very severe anonymity, it is not known what kind of experts they are. No one can remember their names or their faces.
