There is a chance that the MPs from the DPS who stood behind Ahmed Dogan to support the second mandate, which will go to the PP-DB, party chairman Jevdet Chakarov told BNT.
"Let's see what program they offer, what their mission is. Let there be a dialogue and let's sit down and discuss in front of the whole public", said Chakarov in an address to PP-DB.
More MPs are expected to leave the DPS parliamentary group, Chakarov said. According to him, a "healing process" in the party.
"The authentic, real DPS is underway, with the structures that support the policy that was presented and yesterday, after hearing the address of the honorary chairman, you see what the reaction is. In my opinion, this wave will continue".
Chakarov categorically denied that he put pressure on anyone.
"Conversations have been held, but the tone has never been this. I am a doctor, a humanitarian, and it is not in my nature to work with pressure and threats. It's not my nature. There are others who apply such approaches, but everyone decides how to work."
Without mentioning the name of Delyan Peevski, Chakarov confirmed that, according to Ahmed Dogan, it was he who applied "Mutren approaches".
"There is a problem in the functioning of our party and without hesitation, very directly, in his address, the honorable person presents the real picture, namely - that the democratic principles of governance in our party have been violated. (...) In this case, we are talking about one-person and totalitarian rule, a meeting is directed without knowing the agenda".
