An earthquake was registered a few kilometers from the Bulgarian-Serbian border

The tremor occurred near Smilovtsi

An earthquake was registered on the border of Bulgaria, FOCUS reported.

The earthquake happened in Serbian, near Smilovtsi, literally a few kilometers from our border. This became clear from the website of the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the BAS.

The earthquake occurred at 02:04 Bulgarian time and had a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale. Its depth was 12 km.

There are no reports of it being felt in Godec, Dragoman or Trun, which are the closest cities to our border with Serbia.
