A minibus without a driver hit and killed a woman in Burgas

A free-wheeling minibus hit and killed a woman in Burgas. The incident took place around 7:33 a.m. in the area next to block 110 in the “Meden Rudnik” complex, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city announced.

The 32-year-old driver of the van got out to buy breakfast, but did not secure the vehicle and it drove off, hitting and killing a 63-year-old pedestrian on the spot.

After the collision, the van continued its movement, entering a nearby ravine.
