Svetoslav Malinov: A non-party cabinet is the only possibility to end the spiral of elections

The approach of "Continuing the change" - "Democratic Bulgaria" is correct - not to fail from the first day like GERB

Technical, expert, programmatic government means, that there is a political crisis and a lack of trust between the parties. Standard solutions fail 7 times in 3 years. This opinion was expressed in an interview for BNR by political scientist Prof. Svetoslav Malinov.

Sooner or later, a compromise will have to be found for a non-party cabinet at this stage, he pointed out and gave the example of the Netherlands, where, according to him, there is currently a non-party prime minister.

The political scientist emphasizes the impossibility of finding "this smallest common space" and recalled that the rotation did not take place because of the desire to continue with the reforms, which are "extremely disadvantageous for Peevski and Borisov".

To start his own political cabinet with prominent party figures is tantamount to certain failure, he is convinced.

GERB are hurt because after another victory they cannot form a government. Purely intuitively, GERB resists a supra-party cabinet, and this, although an anomaly, is the only possible way at the moment to get out of the spiral of early elections, according to Prof. Malinov's reading.

The approach of "We continue the change"-"Democratic Bulgaria" is correct – not to fail from the first day like GERD, he noted.

Without compromises, we will not be able to save ourselves from early elections in October and early elections in February next year, Svetoslav Malinov is categorical, who does not exclude the chance of having a technical government with the third mandate.

"ITN, if they receive the mandate, will act in this direction. BSP, if it receives the mandate, will act in this direction."

PP-DB will lose a lot if they are "against" in the third mandate, after they were "for" with the second term, Malinov said and called on us not to act as if everything is over. .

All the others, except for the group around Peevski and Borisov, are ready to negotiate and make efforts, the political scientist summarized.
