If the conflict in the DPS ends without blood, it will be good“. Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov said this to bTV. According to him, the struggle for power in the mixed regions is already being transferred to the structures.

„There is already talk about how Bulgarians are taking over DPS on the one hand, and on the other hand about the rascals. Remember how the civil war broke out in Bosnia. Everything started from internal problems in the communities, Karakachanov said. He added that the institutions and other parties cannot look indifferently at what is happening in an ethnic party.
„I am afraid that these conflicts can develop into something terrible, from which the state will find it very difficult to escape,”, warned Karakachanov. He called on the authorities to summon party leaders to tell them that their infighting will not be allowed to turn into an inter-ethnic conflict.
According to Karakachanov, a government will not be announced in the upcoming elections again, because PP-DB want an anti-Peevski coalition from GERB, and this will not happen. The current official was for GERB and DPS, with 1-2 people for the president. Karakachanov summarized that no one is interested in people's problems, but wants to get hold of power in order to benefit financially. This was seen by the people and the voter turnout would again be very low.

The former eco-minister in the cabinet “Petkov“ Borislav Sandov fears that the scandal in the DPS will dominate the entire campaign, which is not useful for democracy and the country, as the campaign will be dominated by internal party problems.

Why now some people have realized who they have been living with for a long time is another question and it is related to how the Bulgarian parties are developing, to what extent there is real democracy in them and to what extent the leaders lead to warlordism and some kind of usurpation of power inside in the parties. This often manifests itself in the administration of the state,”, Sandov pointed out.

According to another former eco-minister – Emil Dimitrov – the conversation about trust within the parties is very important, since those closest to them betrayed Cornelia Ninova, and tomorrow these people may have to form a cabinet.

Off the topic of chipboard, the conversation in the studio of “This Morning“ turned into a dispute over whether there is influence from foreign countries in the country's governance, as Krasimir Karakachanov testified, but Borislav Sandov denied.

Emil Dimitrov touched on the topic of the drought, for which he blamed President Rumen Radev, who through “his two campaign sponsors” installed a minister, a deputy minister and an employee in the eco-ministry and for 3 years the dams have been running for the needs of the people. “Every political power has a hydroelectric power plant”, Dimitrov said, giving as an example Kiril Dobrev from the BSP, as well as the DPS, from where the Zhrebchevo dam flows.
