„From this brief statement of Mrs. Silyanovska we saw that her “cultural diplomacy” it costs exactly zero BGN. Or denarii.“ This is how BGNES journalist Dimitar Ruskov commented to Euronews Bulgaria the first statement of RSM president Gordana Silyanovska-Davkova after her meeting with Rumen Radev.

Here's what else he said:

In other words, her policy is based on a desire for European integration, for dialogue, for rapprochement with our country and for some kind of compromise. Yes, but a European compromise was offered to Bulgaria and North Macedonia – with the start of negotiations, years ago. It was adopted by both parliaments. And at the moment, we see that Macedonia is doing everything but not complying with its international agreements and obligations.

Facts and reality contradict Siljanovska's statements.

First of all, the total rejection of the negotiation framework, including the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Macedonian Constitution as a nation-building nation.

Secondly, this is the total blockage of the work of the Historical Commission. Including, the change of its members not that so far it has worked.

And thirdly, the refusal of “Corridor 8“ – the strategic transport corridor, which is key not only for the Bulgarian economy, but also for the connection with (Northern) Macedonia, Albania, Italy… And it is important for the economic development and prosperity of the entire region.
