The Haskovo police have a new director. This is 38-year-old Miroslav Hristov, who was previously the head of the regional department in the regional city, reports the Bulgarian National Radio.

Miroslav Hristov graduated from the Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski". He has been with the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 2013. He started working as a junior investigating police officer in the Harmanli department.

Since 2017 is in the ODMVR-Haskovo as an investigating police officer and has successively held the positions of senior and chief investigating police officer in the "Investigation" sector. Since January 2021, he has been the head of the RPU-Haskovo.
