We want to govern in a way that makes our voters proud of our actions. This was stated in the studio of “Hello, Bulgaria” on Nova TV by the co-chair of “Continuing the Change” Kiril Petkov.
According to him, the most important thing for the country right now is to introduce the euro. That is why the deputies from the ranks of the PP-DB are currently not supporting the proposed votes of no confidence in the “Zhelyazkov” cabinet. “After we enter the eurozone, we will initiate our own vote of no confidence on the issue of the Ministry of Interior”, Petkov emphasized.
However, the coalition partners from “Continuing Change-Democratic Bulgaria” are not of the same opinion regarding the Speaker of Parliament Natalia Kiselova. They are demanding her resignation from the DB, but not from the PP. “Until we are sure that there is an alternative that is more independent of the duo of Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski, we will not support the request for her resignation”, Petkov emphasized.
