The 13-year-old boy who died in the village of Radanovo died of an electric shock, the spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Veliko Tarnovo, Iliyan Blagoev, told bTV.
The incident occurred after the child entered an abandoned building and found himself near an electrical panel.
„It is still unclear what exactly happened to lead to the fatal end“, Blagoev specified.
We recall that the tragic incident occurred yesterday, when a group of children playing on the sports field playground in the village, headed to a nearby abandoned property. The 13-year-old child died on the spot.
The owners of the building are abroad. Local residents suspect that the power supply was not turned off.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case, which is being monitored by the District Prosecutor's Office in Veliko Tarnovo.
