A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition after an accident that occurred yesterday afternoon on the road between the Pazardzhik village of Debrashtitsa and the regional city. This was announced by the Pazardzhik police.
According to initial information, a 26-year-old minivan driver from Pazardzhik lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and hit a roadside tree.
In addition to the driver, five other people were traveling in the car. The most seriously injured was a 13-year-old boy, also from Pazardzhik, who was transported by ambulance to the Pazardzhik General Hospital and admitted for treatment in serious condition.
Police, fire and “Emergency“ teams were immediately sent to the scene. An inspection was carried out, and the 26-year-old driver's tests for alcohol and drugs were negative.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the serious incident.
