The payment of updated pensions in July this year through post offices will take place from today, July 7, and will continue until July 21 inclusive. Transfers of the amounts for July pensions to the accounts of pensioners who receive their money by bank transfer will be made today. This was announced by the press center of the National Social Security Institute (NSI).
From July 1, pensions were increased by 8.6% under the so-called Swiss rule, and the update will cover everyone with a paid labor pension until the end of 2024, BTA specified. As of July 1, the minimum pension is already 630.50 leva.
A little over 1 billion has been allocated for the modernization of pensions in the State Social Insurance Budget Act for 2025. BGN, and as a result of the planned increase, the average amount of pensions paid will reach BGN 1,012.
The date for payment of unemployment benefits this month is July 15 (Tuesday).
