Ukrainian drone attacks overnight were aimed at Moscow and dozens of other Russian regions, Russian authorities said, as quoted by Reuters. The strikes killed one person and damaged an agricultural enterprise in the southwest of the country, News.bg reports.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, between 11:00 p.m. on Thursday and 7:00 a.m. On Friday, air defense systems shot down 155 Ukrainian drones, including 11 aimed at the Russian capital.

Three of the four main airports serving Moscow - Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky - temporarily suspended operations due to the attack, but later resumed flights, the Russian aviation agency Rosaviatsia reported.

A drone crashed into an agricultural enterprise in the Lipetsk region, causing a short-lived fire, killing one person and injuring another. The Russian Defense Ministry said four more drones were destroyed in the same region.

The ministry said the number refers to drones destroyed by Russian forces, without specifying the total number launched by Ukraine.

Most of the drones were intercepted over Russian regions bordering Ukraine - Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions.

Kiev says the attacks on Russian territory are targeting infrastructure related to Moscow's military efforts and are a retaliation for Russia's ongoing strikes on Ukrainian territory since the start of the war.
