Sweden will help increase arms deliveries to Ukraine, the „Reuters“ agency reported, News.bg reports.

Sweden's decision comes after US President Donald Trump's statement that the United States will provide billions of dollars worth of weapons, including „Patriot“ missile systems, through NATO.

Swedish Defense Minister Pál Jónsson welcomed the US decision, describing it as a step towards strengthening sanctions against Russia and facilitating deliveries of „Patriot“ and other weapons systems to Ukraine.
