US President Donald Trump announced that individual European leaders will visit the United States on Monday and Tuesday to discuss how to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, Reuters reported.
Trump also announced to journalists after returning from the final of the US Open tennis championship in New York that he would soon talk again with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Some European leaders are coming to our country individually on Monday or Tuesday“, Trump announced, without specifying who he meant, and the White House has not yet responded to a request for details.
The US president added that he was “not happy“ about the situation with the war between Russia and Ukraine, after being asked by reporters about the massive Russian airstrike on Sunday night that Ukrainian officials say caused a fire in the main government building in Kiev.
