Hyundai has unveiled its latest electric offering, the Ioniq 9, a spacious three-row SUV that is poised to take on the Tesla Model X and Kia EV9, with which it shares many of its technologies. Built on Hyundai's E-GMP platform, the Ioniq 9 features a sleek aerodynamic design, along with signature lighting elements for the Korean company.

The Ioniq 9 is powered by several electric powertrain configurations, including a single-motor RWD configuration and a dual-motor AWD configuration. The top-level Performance model delivers impressive acceleration, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. The base RWD model arrives with 214 horsepower from a rear-mounted electric motor and can travel up to 620 kilometers on a single charge.

The Ioniq 9 has a battery with a capacity of 110.3 kWh, which is also available in the other two configurations, with 310 and 430 horsepower respectively. Thanks to fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes.

In addition to performance and mileage, the Ioniq 9 is equipped with a host of advanced technologies, including the easy-to-use infotainment system familiar from the Santa Fe, a comprehensive suite of driver assistance features and 'car-to-charge' functionality. ; (V2L).

The seats and interior panels are covered with ecological upholstery. Materials range from sustainably sourced leather to recycled polyethylene terephthalate and even wool.
