Jaguar continues to deploy a large-scale and effective PR campaign around its new futuristic concept electric car, called Type 00, confirming its ambitions to transform the brand towards the ultra-luxury and exclusive segment. After its debut at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week at the end of 2024 and its participation in Miami Art Week, where the concept first appeared before the public, Jaguar is once again attracting attention, this time on the Cote d'Azur. In Monaco, the company organized a spectacular appearance of the Type 00 on a specially built floating terrace, which symbolically emphasizes the new strategic vision of the brand: sophistication, technological courage and absolute aesthetic expressiveness.
The event in Monaco was part of an exclusive series of Jaguar events held behind closed doors for a select group of guests, including representatives of the worlds of fashion, art, high technology and media. The concept, painted in a deep and complex shade of French ultramarine with a metallic effect and a satin finish, became the main visual focus of the event, evoking genuine admiration even among the audience experienced in luxury.
According to the company, the Type 00 is not just a concept car, but a kind of harbinger of a new era for Jaguar, which will begin with an official presentation in 2026. The production version of the model is expected to have an all-electric powertrain with a capacity of over 550 horsepower and a range of about 750 kilometers, which will allow the car to confidently position itself in the segment of high-performance luxury electric cars. At the same time, Jaguar does not hide that the model will be part of an extremely limited series, with a starting price of at least 200 thousand US dollars. Thus, the Type 00 should become not just a vehicle, but a collector's and socially significant object for a wealthy audience.
