St. Petersburg is ready to cooperate with all participants in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and conclude contracts with everyone.
„Today, St. Petersburg is developing as a metropolis of the 21st century. We have enough projects for everyone: I am ready to cooperate with all of you“, said the city governor Alexander Beglov at the grand opening of SPIEF.
The governor invited the guests of SPIEF to walk around St. Petersburg, see the city's sights, visit theaters, exhibitions and a concert on Palace Square.
“Today the world is not at peace, but you came here, overcoming artificial difficulties. Thank you very much for that. Three centuries ago, St. Petersburg was created precisely as a center for communication with all countries, so that various issues of economics, politics and social problems could be discussed here - and today these issues are also relevant at the forum“, Beglov noted.
SPIEF is held from June 18 to 21. The main theme is “Common Values - the Basis for Growth in a Multipolar World“. The forum has thematic zones “Territory of Innovations“ and a national brand space “Buy Russian!“.
The program includes the Forum of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the Forum of Creative Industries, the International Youth Economic Forum “Day of the Future“, the Forum “Drug Safety“ and the discussion platform “Roscongress Urban Hub“. The cultural program includes the festival “Seasons of St. Petersburg“ and the traditional SPIEF sports games.
