The Toll Administration is working on a system that will allow drivers with foreign registrations to be fined before they leave the country. This was done after a series of signals that these drivers usually manage to avoid fines and therefore do not comply with the restrictions at all.

This was revealed by "Nova TV".

International traffic comes into the sights of the authorities. The head of the national Toll Administration announced that their cameras will be included in the identification of foreign drivers-violators, and the idea is that they will be fined even on the territory of Bulgaria. Against this background, NOVA received a viewer video showing a TIR truck performing an extremely dangerous overtaking maneuver, and according to viewers, foreign drivers are driving in this manner.

International driver Rosen Eftimov said that on the Hemus Motorway, foreign trucks enter the third lane of the highway, which is absolutely prohibited by law. Turkish drivers have received a warning protocol for this violation.

Cases of dangerous driving by international carriers in our country are not few at all. This is shown by other viewer videos. At the same time, the rules in other European countries are strictly observed, Bulgarian drivers testify.

The state is preparing changes, and cameras will record violations. The violator will be stopped at the border, where he will be fined. Work is still underway on the technical readiness of the toll system for this. Changes in the regulatory framework are also needed.

In any case, the time has come for repairs. Three sections will be repaired on the "Trakia" highway - 24-33 km., then 90-98 km., and in the Sliven region 268 - 273 km.
