Another hearing in the Sofia City Court on the case against the former head of the capital's investigation Petyo Petrov-Evroto. It is being held in absentia, as Petrov has been missing for more than 2 years.
The former investigator is accused of large-scale document fraud, which is a particularly serious case and is punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison. This concerns the huge sums of money, gold and expensive coins seized from Iliya and Yavor Zlatanov.
In June, Iliya Zlatanov dictated to the court Petrov's address in Thessaloniki, where he lives according to his data. However, since then there has been no information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs about his search.
