"Lukoil" must be state-owned. This was stated by former MP and spokesman for caretaker governments Anton Kutev.
"If we have an oil refinery, if we have a nuclear power plant, if we have a key energy source, it must be state-owned - for me there is no doubt about that... I very much hope that the issue with "Lukoil" will be resolved in a way that "Lukoil" can work," Kutev was categorical in front of Bulgaria ON AIR.
"For 35 years we have been repeating this mantra that the state is a bad manager. Realistically speaking, electricity prices in Bulgaria could not be like this - prices for household consumers are so low for one reason only - that we seize the profit of the nuclear power plant and distribute it to household consumers. And this is possible because the nuclear power plant is state-owned", explained the guest.
In his words, GERB leader Boyko Borisov seems "severely addicted at the moment and all his actions show addiction".
When asked if there are addictions in the BSP, Kutev answered with a sense of humor: "I have a suspicion that in our party they don't need such severe addictions to become addicted. I'm afraid that they can get by with much lighter ones."
