„The government does not comply with the laws of the state. The draft budget must be submitted by the end of October 31, that is, the government must be sanctioned. By the end of the month, the Ministry of Finance must present a report on the budget execution for the previous month – and this has not been done. How are we going to allow our elected officials to do whatever they want?“
This was stated on the air of BNT by economist Prof. Garabed Minasyan.
„We should not associate poor financial management with the eurozone. The eurozone is not an immunization against poor financial management. A series of deficit budgets is poor financial management. A 3% deficit almost became a goal, but it is not like that – "it is the permissible deviation in a decent government", is the opinion of the banker Levon Hampartzumyan.
According to Prof. Minasyan, incompetence is evident in the budget – – let's give this thing a chance, to annoy someone“: “The question is why inflation in our country is ahead of the European one and will this trend continue. There are no specific, committed analyses by the Ministry of Finance and the government on how things will look in the future. In the budget balance, there is a large outflow of Bulgarian capital abroad – more than 9 billion euros.“
&ndquo;This is even without what is traveling in bags. Someone needs to remind the government and the deputies that they can change many things, but there are things they cannot change“, Hampartzumyan added.
