New breakdowns left Asenovgrad without water

The situation in Asenovgrad has become more complicated. The city was without water for almost the entire day yesterday, and last night, after the initial breakdown at the Lakovo pumping station was dealt with, a new one occurred nearby.

The work of the Water and Sewerage Department teams continues, but there is no forecast when the water will be released.

Two breakdowns of supply water pipes left the city dry. The supply water pipe to the “Lakovo“ pumping station and another near the Parakolovo villa area have been out of order.

Since yesterday morning, emergency teams have been working to repair the damage, as the promise was that the water supply would be restored by the evening, but this never happened due to the new leaks.

In the villages around Asenovgrad, the water supply is normal.
