"Vazrazhdane" has collected the necessary number of signatures and will file a complaint with the Constitutional Court against the changes in the law, which expand the powers of the special manager of the "Lukoil" refinery. This was announced by the leader of the party, Kostadin Kostadinov, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio:
"We believe that this is a violation of the Constitution. One of the basic rights that the Constitution gives to every Bulgarian citizen is precisely to have inviolable private property. If this law is used in its full force and severity, it will cause enormous damage to the Bulgarian state, because "Lukoil" will file lawsuits for enormous damages amounting to billions of leva, and for this very reason I hope that the Constitutional Court will issue a decision on the case as quickly as possible, because every day that the Constitutional Court does not rule will cost us billions".
For submitting the request to the Constitutional Court, "Vazrazhdane" received support from MECH and "Velichy" and thus a total of 51 signatures were collected with a minimum requirement of 48.
"Vazrazhdane" will join the blockade of the parliament building on Tuesday, which was called for yesterday by the leader of the PP Asen Vassilev with the motive of thwarting the adoption of the budget:
"I like what I hear and we will certainly join. But I don't know exactly how they imagine the occupation of the parliament. If they imagine it with happenings and pink piggy banks, piggy banks in front of the parliament - it won't happen like that. If they want to achieve an occupation, the occupation is done in the way that we from "Vazrazhdane" have shown that one should protest. If they want to protest like us, together with us, we are ready to support them".
