This week, we witnessed protests by employees from the administration in the form of the National Social Insurance Institute and the National Statistical Institute. They are demanding a salary increase, which should be included in the 2026 Budget.
For next week, there are requests for protests in agriculture, forestry and healthcare.
"This budget is not leftist“, said the president of the "Podkrepa" Coalition Dimitar Manolov, quoted by bgonair.bg.
He reminded that there are 302 central administrations operating in Bulgaria, which can hardly unite because "each of them has a head who is some kind of political projection".
In his words, there are also "260 municipal administrations", which supports a political clientele.
From the "Podkrepa" They want a change in the way salaries are formed, since for the same position the difference between institutions reaches "4-5 times".
Manolov pointed out that during Dyankov's time, the deduction of social security contributions from salaries led to absurdity "The state simply moves them from one pocket to another".
The Fiscal Council, in his words, receives salaries "three times the average for the public sector and three times the minimum wage for each meeting". A generous increase is also planned for the CPC, the FSC and the Anti-Corruption Commission.
"These terrible imbalances must be ended", the trade unionist emphasized on national radio.
Manolov warned that the Golden Swiss Rule causes serious damage because the growth of pensions follows inflation, not social security income.
"What they call the Golden Swiss Rule causes the greatest damage in terms of pension amounts. We pay social security contributions based on social security contributions, based on the growth of social security income, and the growth of pensions is related to inflation. Even inflation is present as a factor in the growth of social security income. If pensions were increased only in relation to the growth of social security income, their sizes would now be completely different. The golden Swiss rule has been pushing pensions down for years," commented Manolov.
The protests will continue, even though the authorities are ignoring them.
"After the protest comes the strike. I don't like strikes at all, but if there is no other choice - this will be it", the president of the "Podkrepa" coalition party announced.
