I have a small hope. We know that it is 12 minutes to 1 and the parliamentary time is running out. With my colleagues from the "Podkrepa" Coalition, we sent an open letter to include in the agenda of the National Assembly the consideration of the budgets that are still in parliament - the NHIF and the state budget, to see who will vote for it and who will not. We want to see a vote in the plenary hall. This is what 470,000 people who were waiting for an increase in their salaries also want to see.

This was stated by the President of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions Plamen Dimitrov in the program "The Day Begins" on BNT.

"Let's listen to those from the square, but let's see that 1/6 of Bulgarians want their salaries. We want to know who will not vote for their salaries and increases", Dimitrov added.

Over the weekend, the Medical Union decided not to sign a new framework agreement. The value of the clinical pathways remains at the level of September 1, 2023. Obviously, there will be no money for hospitals - neither for salaries nor for maintenance. We have a clear vision from the municipalities that they will not be able to accept their budgets. We are going to a new budget in June, the municipalities will have July-August budgets, all taxes and fees are being questioned. Last PVU - if we go to a new government in June, by then we will have to spend 4 billion euros. That's what we have set. And this will not work, Dimitrov also pointed out.

Our appeal is to vote for this budget to guarantee the functioning of the systems, Plamen Dimitrov was categorical.

I am far from saying that this is the good budget for Bulgaria, but it is the necessary one. The extension law will do more mischief. There must be policies that we do not see in this budget. There must be different priorities that are in deficit, added the president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions.
