The health authorities in Plovdiv are deciding whether to declare a flu epidemic in the city. The incidence has been increasing in recent days.
According to data from the local RHI, it is 160 per 10,000 people. The highest number of flu patients are among children under 14 years of age. The regional headquarters in Varna will also meet today. The anti-epidemic measures introduced there were extended by 1 week - until January 26.
As of today, health restrictions have been lifted in Dobrich. In Burgas region, the flu epidemic continues, with measures against the spread of the infection remaining in force until the end of the month. The incidence also remains serious in the regions of Gabrovo, Yambol, Haskovo, Silistra, Pernik and Sofia region.
