Temporary changes in traffic on the highway "Trakia" - in the Burgas region, and "Struma" - in the Kyustendil region, reported the "Road Infrastructure" Agency, dariknews.bg.

In two sections of "Trakia" in the Burgas region, with a length of about 900 m, the organization of traffic will change at the beginning of next week.

From 8 a.m. on February 9 (Monday) to 8 a.m. on February 11 (Wednesday), traffic will be limited in the area of the 337th and 348th km of the highway in the overtaking lane in the Burgas lane for asphalt works during the construction of a “window“ in the median dividing line of the highway.

Traffic will move to the active lane. The road agency indicates that the planned activities are to ensure the possibility of vehicles to move from one lane to the other in connection with upcoming repair works in the section.

Next week - on February 11 and 12, the organization of traffic in the “Blatino“ tunnel on the “Struma“ highway in the Kyustendil region will also change for the construction of a mobile operator station.

From 8 a.m. on February 11 to 6 p.m. on February 12, the passage in the Blagoevgrad tunnel will be limited. Traffic will flow in both directions in the Sofia tunnel.

Drivers are required to drive with increased attention, observing traffic signals and the speed limit of 50 km/h.

The “Road Infrastructure“ Agency apologizes to drivers for the inconvenience caused, but the activities are necessary to ensure traffic safety. The appeal to drivers is to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits, and not to undertake risky overtaking, which endanger the safety of all other travelers.
