Electrohold equips fifth electrical engineering classroom at the Vocational High School of Mechano-Electrical Engineering "Hristo Smirnenski" in the town of Knezha.

With the modern educational facility, students will acquire practical knowledge about the management and maintenance of the electricity distribution network and skills necessary for successful professional realization in the electricity sector.

The opening on February 6, 2026 was attended by Iliicho Lachovski, Mayor of Knezha, Albena Toteva, Head of the Regional Department of Education - Pleven, Evgeniya Nakova, Director of Human Resources at Electrohold Bulgaria, teachers, students and parents.

“Energy is a dynamically developing sector with a real and growing need for well-prepared young specialists. Therefore, for us, the partnership with vocational high schools is not a one-time gesture, but a long-term commitment - to invest in a modern learning environment, in practical training and in support of teachers who prepare future electrical engineers. We believe that when students have access to modern equipment and receive quality practical education, and teachers - to conditions and recognition for their work, the choice of a profession becomes a real and conscious perspective for development. We invite young people from the region to grow together and build the energy of the future right from the classroom,“ said Evgeniya Nakova.

Electrohold's initiative to equip electrical engineering classrooms was launched in 2021. In addition to Knezha, the company has so far equipped classrooms in schools in Pleven, Pernik, Dupnitsa and Vidin.

Electrohold is developing a long-term strategy to support and promote professional education and the development of qualified personnel for the Bulgarian power industry. For ten years now, the company has been providing scholarships in the "Energy for the Future" competition. The company is one of the first to join the dual training in electrical engineering in Bulgaria.
