12 photos from the second inspection of the scene of the death of 12-year-old Siyana have disappeared - how and why they were not included in the court case is unclear. This is exactly what the court is currently establishing. This information became clear during the trial of the accident, bTV reports.
Prof. Stanimir Karapetkov, who is the author of the auto-technical expertise, asked again to be given the opportunity to withdraw from the case of Siyana's death. According to him, the smear campaign that has been waged against him for several months will lead to the fact that whatever he says in court will be used against him again.
Siana's father, Nikolay Popov, stated that he had filed a report with the Prosecutor General demanding that pre-trial proceedings be initiated for manipulating the expert report made by Prof. Karapetkov.
About 30 experts from all over the country came to court today to support Prof. Stanimir Karapetkov. Outside the courtroom, a dispute arose between him and Siyana's father.
"An accusatory expert report, on which the entire prosecutor's office has written an indictment with the objective truth and mechanism of the accident. And at the same time, he files an indictment and then he is exonerated with my expertise, i.e. I have to give up and say - "no, the place of impact was in the truck, exonerate the driver - I have no words", Karapetkov told journalists.
"In another case it will be proven whether I am a forger, a manipulator, whether I am a lord, whether I have corrupt practices", the expert also commented.
"The entire expertise does not comment at all on the actions of the driver, his speeding and everything else. That is why an accusation cannot be raised for speeding, but rather for inconsiderate driving and to blame someone who did not do their job on the road surface, to completely shift the blame somewhere else, like looking for in the "Svoge" case guilty", said Nikolay Popov, Siyana's father.
