The European Central Bank (ECB) has congratulated the newest member of the eurozone – Bulgaria, on its national holiday, March 3.
„Happy Liberation Day, Bulgaria! To celebrate this, we are reviewing Bulgaria's first steps towards eurozone membership to the sounds of a real hit“, states a post on the ECB's „Instagram“ profile, quoted by BTA.
The photos, arranged in a „carousel“format, are accompanied by the song „DJ Take Me Away” (DJ Take Me Away) by „Deep Zone Project“ (Deep Zone Project).
The ECB's post also asks users: “Do you recognize any of the landmarks we show? Share with us in the comments“.
Bulgaria became the 21st member of the eurozone on January 1 this year, and the president of the central bank, Christine Lagarde, often uses social networks to mark important dates related to the country's accession, BTA recalls.
