Today, all Regional Election Commissions must submit the protocols of the section commissions with the results of the vote on Sunday to the CEC for re-verification, the Bulgarian National Radio reports.
The verification procedure is written in the Electoral Code so that discrepancies between the first and second entry of the data can be eliminated. Yesterday, the papers were submitted by almost half of the RECs.
By Thursday, the CEC will announce the results of the early parliamentary vote with the distribution of the 240 mandates at the national level and by electoral district among the 5 formations that crossed the 4 percent barrier.
By Sunday, the nominal composition of the 52nd National Assembly will also become clear.
