Ivaylo Mirchev: There will be no vote of no confidence before September - 1

"Kostadin Kostadinov does not stop telling lies, he is trying to trade on the fears of the people, of all Bulgarians. He is not against the cabinet, but against Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone. For us, however, the eurozone and Schengen are a national priority, we will support these efforts, which are the responsibility of the entire Bulgarian society. We will not back down from this goal and do something that would sabotage the eurozone," Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB said on "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" on BNT.

"There will be no vote of no confidence initiated by PP-DB before September this year. The arguments are clear - Bulgaria must become a member of the eurozone. There are still enough risks that could hinder it," emphasized Ivaylo Mirchev.

According to him, Borisov and Peevski are in a coalition.

"They have the majority and the ability to overthrow him", added Ivaylo Mirchev.

Regarding the decree signed by President Rumen Radev to release Plamen Tonchev from the National Security Agency, Mirchev commented:

"There are all indications that there are certain dependencies on Peevski, there are certain agreements. This raised fist of the president, which was during the 2020 protests, not even a little finger is left of it".
