PP-DB wants a temporary committee to be established in the parliament to investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding the missing “Turkish Stream” road map, which was subsequently found in the e-mails of Russian MPs, as well as all the facts and circumstances surrounding the construction of the “Turkish Stream” - the symbol of corruption in Bulgaria. This was announced to journalists by the People's Representative from PP-DB Venko Sabrutev, reported novini.bg.
"Society should know why Bulgaria ensured the start of the war in Ukraine and gave this opportunity to Russia. Bulgarian citizens should know why BGN 3 billion was spent by Bulgarian taxpayers on a Russian pipeline that carries Russian gas. Just two days ago, Boyko Borisov said that he was extremely proud of this project. We really need to find out if Bulgaria can be proud of this project and if Borisov worked for a foreign interest," he added.
"Back on March 6th, my colleagues and I asked the Minister of Energy whether the road map that was shown to the public and obtained from a hacked email of an associate of a Russian MP was the real road map that was in the Ministry of Energy . The answer is that the ministry itself is not convinced of what the road map is and where it comes from. Bulgaria served the geopolitical interest of Putin and Russia. By building the “Turkish Stream”, we gave Putin a reason to start the war against Ukraine," said MP Ivaylo Mirchev in turn.
