The electorate found itself in a very strange situation. I don't think anything is happening. This is what the sociologist Andrey Raichev told BNR and specified:
"From the data of several sociological agencies it appears that nothing is happening. The distance between GERB and PP-DB is growing a bit, but I don't think anything is happening. And the votes will obviously be 2 to 1, which means that now not 2 million, but 3 million people will vote, which means that in addition to the hard cores, a huge amount of non-hard cores will also vote, and how they will decide - I don't know" .
According to him, the situation the world is in is temporary:
"It is defined by the Ukrainian and Palestinian wars. ... The world is waiting to see who will be president of the United States and how the wars will end. Everything is very connected, and on top of that there are also European elections. This will be a key year because there are many elections around the world. It flows slowly, as if nothing is happening. But it will be a decisive year for the world.
Andrei Raichev emphasized that so far Dimitar Glavchev has not played a political game:
"We haven't seen him play political chess. He has to solve two very difficult issues - both to win the trust of the right-wing and not to lose the trust of his own - GERB, and to build some kind of relationship with the president. Rumen Radev plays something completely unexpected. Everyone expected him to start imposing some of his own people. We don't see anything like that. Radev pulled back and said that his choice was reduced to 6 people and from them he chose Glavchev.
According to him, if Glavchev "manages to dance this dance" with the right, with his own and with Radev, he can create a long government:
"If he builds a cabinet in which he is trusted, this cabinet can be transferred after the elections as the sought-after coalition one.
In the show "12+3" the sociologist comments that the pre-election state of political life in Bulgaria is so special that journalist Petar Volgin has been nominated as an MEP from "Vazrazhdane"-Varna:
"If someone had told you two years ago, you would have given them a thermometer to take their temperature, but now you are considering whether to accept. That is how special our political life is. The entire Bulgarian people are also considering - this is happening".
