Dimitar Glavchev is a responsible person. He will try to do his job despitethe circumstances. And they are absurd. This was stated by the former spokesman of the caretaker governments, Anton Kutev, on bTV, quoted by novini.bg.
In his words, Glavchev undoubtedly works for GERB. "He is a good accountant, but without the support of GERB there is no way he can become the Speaker of the National Assembly and acting Prime Minister".
The President will not refuse the proposed composition of the Council of Ministers, because this could lead to a constitutional crisis, Kutev believes. "This is the first caretaker government that does not in any way depend on the president and does not represent the presidential institution. "The president's responsibility has been deliberately limited and the question is why was this done," he added.
"The last caretaker governments were the most successful in the last 20 years in terms of rating and approval of the people. This should have been stopped by those who ruled the country until recently. They didn't want competition in the form of something meaningful," says Kutev.
We are in a constitutional crisis because these changes are still pending in the Constitutional Court. The probability that they will be canceled is not at all small. In the end, the result of all this is that the only opportunities for good governance have been ruined by the same ones who for the last nine months have shown us supreme examples of the worst governance we can have, he added.
Regarding the negotiations between GERB and PP-DB, the former spokesman of the caretaker governments stated: They have come to an agreement. "PP-DB came and asked for the interior minister. Then GERB said they wanted the National Revenue Agency and the Customs. Where is the conversation going - between the chief secretary, who resigned, and the "Customs" Agency, in which there are arrestees. There is a clear division - someone gave the National Revenue Service and the Customs, and the other holds the Ministry of the Interior", he believes.
According to him, when we are ruled by politically ignorant people - we cannot move forward.
